Joel Brda is the founder and CEO of Human, a digital marketing agency he has led for over a decade. With an Executive MBA and 25 years of experience in digital marketing and technology, Joel has a proven track record of driving growth through innovation. At the age of 17, as a self-employed entrepreneur he began his career building custom shopping carts and websites for clients, setting the foundation for his future in online marketing. He later served as a programming consultant for Anheuser-Busch Companies and built ecommerce solutions for a dot-com that was acquired by New Balance.
Joel’s leadership extends beyond technology; he has successfully led marketing and sales teams for small businesses, helping them scale through data-driven strategies and operational improvements.
At Human, Joel has overseen over 200,000 consulting and marketing execution hours, driving millions in additional revenue for a small, select portfolio of customers. He specializes in crafting data-driven strategies that generate long-term growth. Joel’s ability to identify business opportunities and execute high-impact solutions has made him a trusted partner for businesses.
Joel is also committed to giving back to the community. He donates both time and profits to Ronald McDonald House Orange County, where he serves on the board of trustees, supporting families in need. In his personal time, Joel enjoys spending quality time with his wife of 20 years and their two children. He uses soccer, tennis, and running to stay active.
